In the midst of this crazy mixed up world there is one God and He loves you and He is seeking you out to give you eternal life. John 3:16 (NIV) "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
His Son was sacrificed to atone for your sins. Matthew 20:28 (NIV) just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."
Everyone has sinned. Romans 3:23 (NIV) for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God
There is nothing we can do to earn salvation. It’s a gift that comes by faith. Ephesians 2:8-9 (NIV) For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-- not by works, so that no one can boast.
When we turn (repent) from our sins and believe on Jesus Christ, there is forgiveness. John 11:25-26 (NIV) Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?"
It all starts when we open the door of our heart and invite Him in. Revelation 3:20 (NIV) Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me. John 1:12 (NIV) Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God—
